Basic Information

Species Description:  A Binarian as simple as the name is, is a being who comes from a plane of existence where everything is in some way or another composed entirely of  ‘Code’ in various amounts of degree. Depending on the individual, a binarian’s blood can be found in wide varieties of colour, and depending on the colour it can sometimes determine their bloodline or inheritable lineage and possible abilities with magic or power. Some binarian’s being able to use only minimal amounts of magic or minor abilities, and others have the ability to handle much greater strains of it or display much grander abilities. When this species travels to other ‘worlds/Planes’ they do so USUALLY through technology that may be prevalent within the specific world/plane, by doing so though once a binarian arrives somewhere new their bodies take in a part of the technology they travel through which in turn may be either fatal or permanently changing which can cause them not to be able to return home. For this reason traveling to other worlds is seen as a test for the adamant or determined, as well as a form of sentence to those who are exiled or worse. 

 
Abilities:

~ Gravity Manipulation [Minimal]

        Phi has the ability to currently manipulate only her own body’s gravity in the sense that she can       shift it so that instead of her own sense of gravity holding her to the floor she could instead be gravitated to the same direction as for example the wall or ceiling. She doesn’t have too strong a hold on her gravitational abilities though so changing her sense of gravity is all she can do at the moment.

 

~ Shapeshifting: [Tiger like Quadruped,]

       Phi is the only known one amongst her lineage capable of Shapeshifting, this being because of events from her past that she does not speak of. Specifically she can shapeshift into two different forms [so she's been told by the whispers] both varying greatly in strength and power from each other. Although as she currently is she can only perform the weaker of the two forms with her current amount of strength and handle of power available to her.

Likes:

    v  Technology in general - she ‘speaks’ the same ‘language’ as most of it and often ends up doing exactly that when no one else is around to converse with or learn from.

    v  Books - as they can hold a great deal of knowledge or history, whether real or made up either way she enjoys the work others put into writing and documenting such things.

    v  People - although she’s not a social butterfly she still enjoys meeting and speaking with people both already met and also new.

    v  Candy, Specifically anything Sour – Literally she isn’t seen or known to be or go anywhere without some kind of candy on her persons.

    v  Music – To Phi it’s not so much the vocals that she enjoys, but the different mixtures of sounds and pitching that catches her ears when she is listening to it.

    v  Red/Purple/Blue – She loves and likes these colours respectively, as a Red Binarial it’s also a signification of who she IS and whom she is associated with.

    v  Food in General – She loves to eat, and is always up to trying something new….well at least once anyway. 

    v  Shadowed Whispers – They’ve proven to be helpful sometimes with certain things and quite knowledgeable on anything that she or ‘they’ choose to be interested in.

Dislikes: 

    v  Ignorance – She absolutely hates it, especially in other people who say and argue that they are not, but more than obviously are.

    v  Getting Sick – Phi very much dislike this, because it messes with her abilities, and partially with her ‘coding’

    v  Blatant Discourtesy – If there’s a reason for it she might understand, but otherwise she definitely does not appreciate it.

    v  Pure Yellow – Events in her past have caused her to become very distrustful and suspicious of anything overly personified with this colour.

    v  Asparagus – it doesn’t agree with her.

    v  People touching her Food – She seriously doesn’t like it and can get pretty uppity about it especially if someone tries to actually take her food.  [Trust me don’t do it xD]

    v  Shadowed Whispers – They've proven to be very dangerous in what they speak of to her, or may want in return for certain answers she may have sought.

Strengths:

    v  Physically Strong – although she doesn't look it Phi’s surprisingly strong amongst her kind, although she tries not showing as much in front of people.

    v  Deep Magic Reserve – Because of her bloodline Phi is pretty much a proverbial ‘well of magic’ can allow her to sometimes sustain the use of magic for slightly longer amounts of time than usually expected, although she is barely able to scratch the 'surface' as she is now.  

    v  Strong Immunity – Phi has an extremely high immunity to things such as getting sick or poisoned. She still can of course, but it’s a lot less common or likely for it to happen to her. [most of the time xP]

 

Weaknesses: 

    v  Sickness – If phi gets sick it messes with her… a lot, even if it’s a small thing such as a cold. In most cases where it’s minor her powers/abilities will just go a bit haywire or even ‘be reversed’ from what they usually are. If she becomes seriously sick though her body and code can become unstable and she may lose all of her powers temporarily until she recovers, which can take days to do depending on how bad the sickness was. 

    v  Her Tail – She’ll never tell anyone if she can help it, but if someone were to grab one of the black stripes closet to the base of her tail it’ll cause her whole body to become paralyzed temporarily for a short amount of time.

    v  Over spilling Magic – Although she is able to handle most magical energies and essences to a degree, because of her bloodline a lot of her magic is quite a bit stronger than what she is actually capable of controlling, causing her magic to be hard to maintain properly or outright becoming wild in nature if she doesn’t keep an eye on it constantly.  

Goals:

    v  Learn as much as she possibly can.

    v  Learn to master, stabilize and control the untapped wells of Magic now carried within her blood and the natural magic born to her lineage. 

    v  Fully Master her abilities concerning gravity, especially concerning the concept of possible flight using her abilities within it.

Fears: 

    v  Losing Control – Phi fears this when it comes to her magic because both for harming others and because she has no idea what ‘that’ part of herself will do if she does.

    v  Becoming Sick – She can become very debilitated if she gets really sick.

    v  Amnesiphobia – [Fear of Amnesia] she fears this because it would mean losing part if not all that she has learned, lived, and known. Something she can’t even think about happening, even though she herself knows now that it’s happened to her once before when she was young, and that if she would ever want to retrieve them if lost again it would cost her greatly.

Obsoletta’s a somewhat well-mannered female as a whole, she holds in regards the whole ‘what is received is also given’ quite seriously. Whether it be respect, attitude, friendliness, etc. Although she tries to be open to meeting most people she never truly holds to trusting anyone right off the bat, especially if they’re wearing or have an overabundance of yellow on their person. She loves to learn sometimes to the point of obsession and even if it becomes quite difficult, she still appreciates learning more than what she already knows. At times Obsoletta may seem dead set on doing something, but without warning she might just as much decide to suddenly walk up a wall and sit on the ceiling for no apparent reason other than to do so. Although she may not seem like it she can get pretty territorial over things, specifically her food, she doesn’t really tolerate anything trying to take her food from her, going to some extents into actually biting or fighting people over as much.

History:

    In Obsoletta’s view of growing up it was filled with Manner classes, Historical teachings, Social events, Magic lessons and many other tasks and teachings that came with being the daughter in a family of  monarchs. Specifically the daughter of direct decent to the Red Binarial Family, one of three as she had been taught as the ‘Primarian’ Regencies that governed over a portion of the plane they all existed within. The other two being the Blue Binarials, and the Yellow Binarials, both of which she had sparingly interacted with during the occasional gathering that was held between the three reigning families.

 Later on as she grew older, and continued to be groomed into a respectable and possible heir to the family’s regency, Obsoletta began to become weary if not bored of it. Eventually she began to sneak away from the estates her family owned and wandered, coming across and learning many numeral Pockets of information or knowledge that she knew she wouldn’t have learned otherwise. Some of the knowledge she began to learn this way her family accepted and even approved of, other fractals and facets of such knowledge they did not. One of these facets was the understanding that tensions had begun to rise between the Yellow Fraction and their/her own Red fraction Taking this knowledge in hand she approached her family with the idea that her traveling to the other two Fractions would be an educational experience for her in both learning of the other Fractions, but also in learning how to be cordial toward them as well. Her family out right refused the idea in the beginning, but after constant persuasions from Obsoletta and the possibility of a solution being proposed by the Yellow Binarial Fraction to ease tensions they finally agreed. 

    Taking it in stride Obsoletta, with an escort per the conditions of her family immediately set out to traveling. Through traveling the fractions she learned that there weren’t just three regent families but in fact Six of them, proof of it being when she and her escort arrived for a short stay and visit within the Purple Binarium’s region. She asked many questions as she possibly could and in turn seemed to impress as well as earn appreciation from the Purple regency over her inquisitive nature and honest interest in more than just those considered ‘her own’. When the Purple regency wished her safety in traveling and invited her to come back at any time, Obsoletta agreed and continued eventually arriving within the Blue Binarial Fraction. Formalities were given and introductions said between the Blue Binarial’s representative and herself before the schedule of interests began. She was given tours, lessons within the general knowledge, as well as interactions with some of the Blue Binarials family personally. Most of the stay with the Blue Binarials went well and later on would prove to be invaluable in strengthening ties between red and blue, unfortunately the same could not be said for when Obsoletta eventually arrived within the Yellow Binarials Fraction. There had been a short visit as well to the Green Binarium’s along the way which lead to Obsoletta realizing that something was indeed wrong. They were polite enough and answered most questions, but anything that lead to topic of the Yellow Binarials was almost always cut off in a hushed silence or a show of worried fear within those she spoke with.

    Things took a turn for the worst once she was within the Yellow Fraction. Once more formalities were given and taken and then things proceeded. Unlike the Blue Fraction they were not open to her presence amongst them, Obsoletta was immediately restricted to only certain places, certain times of day, and moreover, not once was she allowed to speak with any of the direct Yellow Binarial regency. Following the day before she was supposed to depart she discovered something disturbing, Plans and schematics tacked together that laid out an attack on the Orange Binarium fraction and then another attack on the Red Binarial fraction directly. After seeing this Obsoletta had planned to leave immediately, but was stopped for a Yellow Binarial realized what she had discovered. Without warning she was attacked and rendered unconscious. Shortly after awaking Obsoletta was forcefully dragged away and made to become some sort of sacrifice for a blood ritual, all the while the yellow Binarials that stood around had mocked her for her naivety and that once they were done with her she would die. Many questions had rampaged through her head as she became more and more aware as to what the Yellow’s were planning to do, she’d seen and recognized the runes from a book she had read describing death coded rituals and magic. Before she could try and resist the Yellow Binarials began the ritual and started to bleed her, as Obsoletta had bled onto the sigils though her mind exploded with information of the circles, Ancient forbidden magic, and finally of memories and words that had once been long since sealed and were not her own.

     The voices that had arisen within Obsoletta’s mind soon drew her into dark places; they sought blood and death, of an end to foolish squander of the powers they wielded for petty causes. The voices forced the images, events, and many other rituals that had been performed both by the Yellow Binarials and countless others into her mind. When Obsoletta’s mind was ready to break from all the shadowed and bloody knowledge that had flooded her mind, it all seemed to suddenly quell abruptly to a trickle. As the shadows and darkness made their intentions clear they gave Obsoletta a choice that would either benefit them both or end in her meager death.

     She made her choice; Obsoletta had been more than willing to make the choice the minute the flood had quelled to allow her own thoughts to start to surface again. Within moments of making the choice Obsoletta was found unconscious and physically appearance wise different within the gardens of the Orange Binarium’s fraction, where she had been told she did not awaken for several days. In the period she had been unconscious it was said that a new regency had arisen within the Yellow Fraction, one that seemed to change and balance things for the better.

 When Obsoletta had finally awoken and traveled back home she did not speak to anyone, in fact to all accords she didn’t speak for a very long time and acted nothing like she used to. Many noticed Obsoletta would drift off in eye focus and had extensively isolated herself from those around her with no explanation as she wouldn't speak to anyone. many had come to question what had happened to her during her travels, and had become suspicious that whatever may have ocured that caused the young binarial's change in personality had also caused the female's sudden change in appearance as well. After so many months though something once more seemed to change and shift within Obsoletta, she seemed to have slowly return to herself, albeit most definitely changed. Obsoletta had acted shocked to her surroundings, which openly worried people as she seemed not to understand much of what her family or anyone else had said she had done once she had been found within the Orange binarium's fraction. Over time Obsoletta seemed to come to terms with what had happened and the 'changes' that had occurred because of it, specifically the whisperings that now crept at the back of her mind.  Although many people had asked what happened and why she now looked the way she did. All she would tell them was that she had learned much more than she would have expected, but if she was asked about the yellow fraction and what happened there she would go silent and refuse to answer entirely or saying she couldn't quite remember. Eventually Obsoletta whenever she had attempted to practice magic noticed she had become much more powerful than she should have been for her age at the time, only coming to the realization of such after casting the most simplest spells and seeing them become unruly or overly powered and wild.

    One day while Obsoletta was once again in one of the many courtyards she'd go to practice in, she took note of an unfamiliar person nearby had been watching her. the minute she stopped the being approached speaking in a language she didn't know yet, but after hearing the being speak some more obsoletta began to grasp the basics of the language. The whispers she had come to think of them, urged her to listen without explaining why. watching the being she noticed they had taken out a piece of paper and writing tool before scrawling something onto the parchment and giving it to her then precedingly walked away out of the courtyard. On the paper obsoletta learned were the words 'Otherworlde, an academy of the arts' , she had wondered why she had been given the words, but had soon realized the real reason without much thought. it had been a suggestion towards possible learning she wouldn't find within her own plane, specifically she sensed in regards to her newly acquired and much more dangerous based abilities. Taking the suggestion in stride Obsoletta after making preparations immediately departed through unheard of means to the supposed academy. 

Misc. Information:

• Obsoletta used to be much more mundane looking before events in the past occurred
• She constantly hears whispers from a sense of shadows or darkness that are connected within her mind
• Most of the time the whispers are harmless, mostly..... or silent… ironically
• Shadows ‘darkness’ seem to be drawn to her
• She likes to share her sour candy, Just to see people’s reactions to the sourness
• Her hair & tail when in close view can be seen to be made up entirely of red binary code and black void less space.
• Her hair and all of her tail in certain spots will glow a deep to bright red in a very slow pulsating like way when in the relatively dark or itch black.
• Her eyes, where there is colour is very Digital-esque, they also glow…sometimes
• You’ll find her more often than not walking on the ceiling or walls rather than the actual ground.

    Obsoletta looked down from where she was on the ceiling of the building's main entrance way, so many people had been coming through the door when she had arrived that she had opted to stay out of the way until there wasn’t such a 'crowd' coming into the building. In the past few minutes she had seen a variety of beings come through the door, all of which seemed to take on some semblance of a bipedal like form that was required by those who chose to attend the academy or visit it's expansive grounds. A dark whisper drifted through her mind urging her to continue on instead of sitting complacently on the ceiling, letting out a sigh and popping a candy in her mouth Obsoletta got up from where she was on the ceiling and started walking downward to return to the floor.  “Fine, fine I'll go” she muttered to the whispers and herself as she went,  keeping an eye on the people that seemed to have stayed near the entrance of the building to speak to those nearby. She wondered just what kind of life she'd have here possibly at the so called academy, she figured it'd be at least a little bit interesting seeing as all the different types of people around would probably lead to some interesting interactions.
